About
Dali
Dali is a rescued female Labrador who has blossomed into one of India’s most unique petfluencers and the country’s first painting dog. Featured across national and international media, Dali has captured countless hearts through her art, story, and joyful personality.
Her paintings are more than just strokes of color. They tell stories of hope, love and second chances. Each artwork carries a purpose, as Dali uses her talent to raise funds for the treatment and adoption of Indian stray dogs and abandoned furry friends seeking a new beginning.
She travels across India with her parents and her rescued brother, Miro. On her latest mission, “1 Dog, 1 Painting, 1 India”, Dali aims to create a painting in every state of the country. These artworks will later be auctioned to support rescue and rehabilitation efforts. Dali’s art continues to inspire animal lovers and art admirers alike, proving that creativity knows no boundaries, not even species.

Dali's
Art Journey
Abandoned and rescued at just 45 days old, Dali found her forever home with Hoi Choudhury and Snehangshu Debnath in Hyderabad, India. Surrounded by an environment filled with art, her playful curiosity soon turned into a remarkable form of expression.
Dali grew up watching canvases, brushes and colors all around her. She would sometimes snatch brushes from them, either to play or to catch attention. One day, their friend Subrata Ghosh, a Kolkata-based architect, remarked, “Why don’t you give her a brush? Maybe she wants to paint.” That suggestion changed everything.
When a brush was placed before her without any paint, Dali picked it up and gently touched the canvas. What began as a fun experiment soon unfolded into an extraordinary artistic journey. At seven months old, she started holding the brush in her mouth, and by nine months, she completed her first watercolor painting.
Dali naturally developed her own painting style, creating broad, expressive strokes with the brush both horizontally and vertically. The only training given to her was to hold a brush in her mouth, and touch a surface. She never followed multiple commands. Once she holds a brush, she simply knows what to do. Her creative process, shared through videos, soon captured hearts across the world and marked the beginning of a journey that continues to inspire.
